Procrastination Has The Best of Me

My bishop taught a bible study on procrastination sometime last year and this is one area I tend to struggle with the most. For some reason, I have the right mindset when it comes to finishing things in a timely matter but just never seem to stick with the plan I set. I know I can’t be the only one dealing with this type of issue. Procrastination is probably one of the hardest things to shake. You can’t seem to get your mind focus on the very thing you should be doing because most of the time it is because we become lazy. Laziness would tend to make you give up on yourself which I am pretty sure that is something most of us won’t either consider as an option. Let’s become more goal oriented and get rid of our procrastination at last. Below is some scriptures that may be helpful with getting rid of something that constantly takes control over our lives.

Defined: Putting things off

James 4:13-14

The arc represent Christ it represents safety. You are safe in God.

Proverbs 13:4-5

You need boldness to defeat the devil in these last days.

Proverbs 10:4

When you have a lazy hand you become poor. You can have something but don’t realize what you have. You have Jesus but with the mindset you have you don’t realize that.

Luke 9:59-62

Do it God’s way and not your way.

Matthew 24:22;44

Matthew 25:1-13

Are you wise or a fool?

We have to constantly examine ourselves to evaluate ourselves. Be honest with yourself. You don’t have to beat yourself up about being a procrastinator.  Just remind yourself constantly on becoming better. Begin by praying and asking God to rid you of the very thing that tends to cloud your task at hand.
