- Clean Slate – A clean slate gives you the opportunity to leave anything that you don’t want to bring into your future in the past. Allowing yourself to be cleansed of the “what ifs” that could be clouding your mind allows you to open yourself up to new possibilities you didn’t see yourself having.
- Setting Goals – When you set goals, this gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself to achieve those goals. This helps with stimulating your brain to allow yourself to think differently brainstorming ways to reach the goals you set.
- Staying Positive – Staying positive allows you to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles you might endure while trying to change your mindset. You do not want to revert to your old mindset because this can cause you to lose focus in the goals you set. Also, this will contaminate the clean slate you worked so hard to clean off. Positivity allows you to look at the journey of changing your mindset as the stepping block into a new life.
