New Year, New YOU

We are 10 days into the New Year and you are probably starting to slack on your “New Year Resolutions”!!!

I’m typically a person who doesn’t set New Year Resolutions because I feel you shouldn’t only set goals at the beginning of the year. You should be setting and reevaluating your goals all throughout the year. The New Year should be when you reflect on what you have accomplished the year before and how you plan to continue becoming YOU version 2.0, 3.0… and beyond. For me, I always consider myself evolving into a better version of ME!

Last New Years I started a YouTube channel and I really wanted to stick with it but the timing was really off for me. I was finishing up my Master’s degree and once I completed that I wanted to relax, who knew I would relax the remainder of the year, lol. I tried uploading when I could but editing is no joke. I plan on being more consistent in 2019 when it comes to things I love doing: writing, being creative, and makeup. The one thing I had to remember was my mental health was more important than putting out content that I wouldn’t be proud of. I had to take the time to BREATHE! I’m finally finished relaxing…Relaxing

Since it is a New Year, instead of stressing yourself out with New Year Resolutions, decide to take it one day at a time.

Your goals will become successes with consistency and commitment! You can only get better from here! Goals

  1. I will become a better version of me by focusing on myself with time and activities I like doing. Stop worrying about what others think. Who cares. Stop making sacrifices for those who don’t and won’t do the same.
